Happy Hour // 2023

Happy Hour // 2023

I am excited to share my newest works. Inspired by a recent commission request, these hand made cocktail picks are both delicate & decadent. They are equally fragile and usable - perfect for the most elegant of home entertaining.

These pieces are currently on display at Salamanca Arts Centre (where I have been a resident studio artist for over 10 years) in the Lightbox Gallery. Located on the historic streetfront of Salamanca Place, at the main entrance of the art centre.

They will be on display until April 22nd, 2023.

"A tiny soiree of elegant new works inspired by the glamour and fun of Happy Hour. Inspired by Tasmanian native flora, this custom set of handmade cocktail picks ornately reference the delicate and fragile nature of the plants they are inspired by in Emily's signature botanical style.

They are functional objects, perfectly suited to the most fabulous of occasions. A beautifully decadent garnish for your glass – after all “it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere”.

Flora (L-R main article image): Atherosperma (Blackheart Sassafras), Nothofagus gunnii (Tasmanian Fagus), Eucalyptus gunnii (Eucalyptus), Craspedia glauca (Billys Buttons), Eucryphia Lucida (Leatherwood), Leptospernum Rupestre (Tea Tree).

Hand made in sterling silver, 18ct gold plated. Dimensions: 110mm L x 15mm W (each//approximate). Available for order by commission in either in sterling silver, or gold plated sterling silver.
